The Chinese name Dang Gui means "let come". In the East, this root is a traditional remedy for women with reduced resistance, fatigue, strengthening after an illness and increasing energy, zest for life and vitality. Traditionally, the plant is prescribed for anemia, menstrual disorders, disorders of gynecological origin, weakness after childbirth and complaints during menopause. In China, angelica sinensis is therefore called "the woman's ginseng". Many patent remedies use the plant to nourish and strengthen the blood, stimulate blood flow and regulate the menstrual cycle. Our Angelica sinensis is harvested in the west of China (Lanzhou), a region known for its best quality of Dang Gui.
