1. Ginseng – Vitality, Resistance and Inner Strength

Ginseng is one of the most well-known and valued herbs in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). It has been used for thousands of years to strengthen the body, increase energy and promote recovery. Ginseng symbolises vitality and balance, and is often used as a tonic for both body and mind.

    What is Ginseng?

Ginseng usually refers to Panax Ginseng (Ren Shen), native to Northeast Asia. The word Panax means “all-healing”, reflecting the broad effects of this root. In TCM, ginseng is considered a powerful Qi tonic that supports the central energy level.
